The program is too early in development for a DEMO. We are very much considering putting together a demo when we will be closer to the official launch and we had time to polish more aspects of the program. You can try out the tracker tech if you are worried about glasses in the link to Visage Technologies tech posted in the product's about section. The program is not done, when you pre-order you get access to the beta and you can play with it. But remember what you are using is the BETA, an in-development version.
Download Now! FaceRig flavors. FaceRig Studio, targeted at businesses,it enables numeric mo-cap tracking, destined to be used with professional software. “FaceRig is a piece of software that will use your webcam to track your face (and facial movements) then transform it into something a little (or a lot) less human.”.

A demo for the beta and all the legalities implied (remember we use external licensed software so we cannot randomly just do as we please) take time from actual development (we don't have business-only people on staff that can take care of the legals aspects of a demo, some of us have to take time off replying to mails and writing on forums, and actually developing the program each time we need to deal with the legal aspects. So that delays development and want to keep that to a minimum ). Our goal it not to make the most money possible off FaceRig now and sell tons of copies while it still has bugs. We didn't even do any traditional marketing yet.
We put the beta up because we knew we needed community feedback and help with bug testing to take the program further. We are very grateful for the folks who chose to join in early and help us during development. Our goal is to spend most resources in actual development and make the best possible product. Then we will worry about demos, marketing and such.
App for & Get It For: Free You've seen the demo on the — those cute animated characters that can move in sync with your face and match expressions with you. A lot of people probably covet the X just for this one feature. Animoji are eerily accurate because the feature is enabled by sophisticated depth sensors specific to the X. Well, with, you can have a similar experience on almost any phone with a front camera. It may not be as accurate as the iPhone X but it's pretty good. Just record a neutral expression of yours first and between one of the available avatars.
A few avatars are included for free while others can be unlocked by paying or accumulating points. You can also change backgrounds or use one of the masks (similar to another app MSQRD). There are no other ads within the app, which is nice.
And yes, you can capture photos and videos to share to your heart's content.
